Thanks to everyone who came along for a toe-tapping night at the movies! We raised $1,600 for Community Wildlife Units, and we had three new members sign up to the Fund (one of who was lucky enough to win a sun bear encounter at the National Zoo & Aquarium!!)

What a great night in the brand new Rhino Bistro at the National Zoo & Aquarium!
World-renowned orangutan expert, Leif Cocks, gave an inspiring presentation leaving everyone with lots to think about. Congratulations to the winners of accommodation at Jamala Wildlife Lodge (valued at over $1,400), the lucky door prize, the encounter with a Sumatran tiger and live auction items (a bespoke tour of the National Zoo & Aquarium valued at over $600, a painting by an orangutan and a run/brunch with the ACT Minister for Climate Change)!

All proceeds will go to The Orangutan Project for the protection of critically endangered wildlife and habitat in Bukit Tigapuluh, Sumatra, Indonesia.
